How to Use Metal Kleen

Before you begin, ensure your vehicle is parked in a shaded area, and the surfaces you intend to clean are cool to the touch to prevent the product from drying too quickly and causing streaks or spots.

Step 1: Prepare the Area

• Rinse the wheels and the targeted surface areas with water to remove loose dirt and debris.
• Shake the Metal Kleen bottle well before use to ensure the ingredients are mixed properly.

Step 2: Application

• Spray Metal Kleen generously onto the surface, covering the area evenly. Cover all nooks and crannies for wheels where brake dust and iron particles will likely accumulate.
• Let the cleaner sit for 3-5 minutes to penetrate and loosen the dirt and contaminants. You will notice the product changing its color to a purplish hue as it reacts with the iron particles.

Step 3: Agitation (if necessary)

• If the dirt and contaminants are not easily removed, use a soft-bristled brush or a microfiber cloth to gently agitate the surface, working in a circular motion to lift the dirt off.

Step 4: Rinse

• Thoroughly rinse off the cleaner with a stream of water, removing all the product residues from the surface.
• For stubborn spots, you may repeat the process as necessary.

Step 5: Drying

• Dry the surface with a clean, lint-free microfiber towel to prevent water spots and streaks.
• Inspect the area to ensure that all contaminants have been removed.

Step 6: Protection

• After cleaning, you may apply a protective sealant or wax to the surface to protect it from further contamination and make future cleaning easier.
